THE PROJECT-UPDATES:
I've been trying to cross the only gap in the plot which hasn't been pre-planned. I have serious trouble in coming up with something that would fit the story, but not be useless for the whole package. I have a big no-no for all useless padding in stories. But maybe this problem solves itself if I let it marinate in my subconciousness on it's own. It has happened before with The Project. One morning I'll just wake up, and know exactly how to continue the story. Hopefully.
REAL-LIFE UPDATES:
However, I am a little woried about what my Japanese-immersion does to The Project. I'm not sure if my brain can concentrate on two gargatuan projects at once. But then again, there's no going back now. I won't quit Japanese. I can already recognize and remember about half of the kanji I've gone through (maybe about 100 out of 200) and my understanding of the spoken language improves daily. I can't really speak Japanese (yet) or understand full sentences (yet) but I will. If I just keep on going, I will. If I quit now, all I've done so far would be in vain.
And most of all, I have tons of fun with Japanese! I get to listen to as much cool Japanese music as I want to (GACKT, Girugamesh and Alice Nine <3) and watch shitload of anime and tv-series. All this is so much fun and feels so good I don't want to quit! Even the kanji are fun. I guess you could say that I currently live and breathe Japanese language. I let the language seduce me, I let it take me fully. In return, I absorb everything it gives me. How else could I achieve a real fluency? To be able to talk with real Japanese people in Japanese, read magazines or manga, watch movies without subs and understand the lyrics of wonderful songs...yes. YES. That is what I want. And today I have all the tools I need for it. The Project will take care of itself, Japanese is the one that requires my affection at the moment.
